  1. Pigs in a Blanket

  3. Ingredients:

  5. Bread:
  6. (All ingredients at room temperature except milk)
  7.    7-9 ounces milk at 110-115 degree
  8.    (microwave on high for 3 minutes)
  9.    1 1/2 tsp. salt
  10.    1 large egg
  11.    1 1/2 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  12.    4 cups bread flour
  13.    3 tbsp. sugar
  14.    2 tsp. active dry yeast

  16. 2 packages hot dogs

  18. Directions:

  20. Mix all bread ingredients together and let rise, then punch down.  Knead bread until desired consistency and let rise again.  Once bread is finished rising, break off small ping-pong ball size pieces and roll out each piece in an oblong shape.  Place hot dogs in center of dough and wrap it around the hot dog, overlapping bread dough to seal.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bread is lightly browned.
